Happy Sunshine Day!

Make the most of the sunshine, and spend as much time as possible outside in nature. Being in nature is one of the easiest ways to feel more relaxed, especially if you can kick off your shoes and walk barefoot on the grass - even if you are just hanging the washing out, do it barefoot, so you come into direct contact with nature. Try and have your lunch in the garden or if you work near a park, go and sit in the park under a nice shady tree and instantly feel calmer!

Exposure to the sun also helps your body to produce vitamin D. Relaxing in the sun for a brief period of time (just 5 to 10 minutes) a few days per week without sunscreen can help your body create enough vitamin D to ward off a deficiency.

So it's good for the mind, body and soul! Have a happy sunshine day! x
